For Daniel Kogler, fitness is a way of life.
“A life without regular physical exercise – that wouldn’t be for me.” What began as a passion has developed into a successful concept and has become an integral part of the region. Just as he cannot imagine life anywhere else. Even though the sporty ‘sunny boy’ enjoys travelling in his camper van at the weekends: Mittersill is his home.

Daniel comes from a family of hoteliers. Together with his aunts Anneliese and Andrea, he is now carrying on the legacy his grandparents built, representing the second generation. The Sporthotel Kogler is a long-established establishment and a unique gem in Mittersill. For many decades, guests have been spending their holidays at this hotel, which is open all year round. The people of Pinzgau know the ‘Kogler’.

No wonder: there is hardly any other business in the region which, firstly, offers such a wide range of sporting activities and, secondly, makes them available to the local community as well. Swimming, using the sauna, playing squash or tennis, working out in the gym – the Kogler is renowned for all of these. Many people are particularly familiar with the Disco Kogler – after all, this is where their parents once held legendary parties

Daniel lives his life doing what he loves – combining this in both his work and his free time: training and travelling, enjoying the company of others whilst also taking time out for himself. He shows landscapes and people in their best light, helping them to lead fit, healthy and self-assured lives.
