Daniel Steger

“I think I have pretty good common sense and that is important for many decisions” likeable young entrepreneur Daniel Steger tells us. “I probably owe this to my six years of education with a focus on finance and risk management at the tourism school”, he says. He is also keenly aware of that his family gave him a good background to build on. His father, grandfather and uncle all come from the sports industry. The enthusiasm for this and range of opportunities resulting therefrom were exemplified for him from a young age. 2014 he started the project “Sport Steger” together with his parents by setting up the first shop “Brand Outlet” in Mittersill town centre.

”The concept of offering renowned sports brands with professional advice at permanently reduced prices proved to be highly successful”, Daniel tells us proudly. New ideas and visions for the future were further developed. “We were planning additional shops and I could hardly wait to implement these plans.
I just had to graduate first“, he smiles. Then things happened quickly: The family of entrepreneurs open three more branches within one year – the service point at the upper terminus of the panoramic lift, the current main store “Sport Steger“ at the town square and the golf shop at the golf course.
