She passes this on to her children too. “Whatever you do in life – the most important thing is that you put your heart into it!” After training as a hairdresser, Monika felt the urge to explore the world. So she spent a year in the USA. On her return, she worked in the hospitality industry and eventually took over a small café. At the age of 52, she is fulfilling her long-cherished dream of owning her own boutique. In her charming shop, “by Moni – Fashion with Heart” on Lebzeltergasse, she has not only been bringing colour to everyday life since autumn 2024. She ensures that her customers finally find what they have (almost) searched for in vain in this shopping town in the Oberpinzgau. She doesn’t stock off-the-peg clothes, but rather a carefully curated selection of fashion that is perfectly suited to curvy women. Plus-size clothing, jewellery and accessories that bring joy and make style-conscious women feel like they’re celebrating themselves.

Monika has not only made her dream come true, but has also created a place where women can feel confident and beautiful, regardless of their dress size. Her business is more than just a shop – it is a space for meeting people, sharing ideas and finding inspiration. The stories and smiles of her customers are her greatest reward. With every day she spends in her shop, it becomes clearer to her that she isn’t just selling fashion, but also a sense of joie de vivre and self-confidence. In this way, Monika has not only enriched her own life, but also that of many women who can now take on the day with a smile and a new outfit.
