She is a woman who is hands-on. She prefers the freshly delivered food and goods in her thrift store in the town center of the municipality. She has been running it for almost 4 years and has been supplying people in the region with fresh food and a wide range of goods ever since. The many regular customers appreciate this. But also the guests who like to stock up at Spar with everything they need on their vacation here.
“In winter in the late afternoon after skiing, it's a real buzz here,” laughs the cheerful Mittersill woman. The fact that the bus stop is right outside the front door certainly helps too. Sandra started her own business during the pandemic and describes it as a “kamikaze act” - but it turned out well. “People always need food and courage is part of becoming self-employed anyway.”
She enthusiastically carries this joy of life into her store, which for Sandra is more than just a place of commerce; it is a space where community is created and the connection to the region becomes tangible. This positive energy not only enriches her own life, but also that of her customers and employees - and that is exactly what makes her work so fulfilling.
