Gold panning and gemstone hunting at the Niedernsill Gemstone Park

Roll up your sleeves and dive straight into the fun. The Niedernsill Gemstone Park is a place of glitz and sparkle; it’s not just gold nuggets that flow through its veins here, but gemstones too. But don’t panic – there’s enough for everyone. Families and groups of children in particular will have a brilliant time here. There are 80 different types of gemstones to pan for.
Whether using traditional panning trays in the Gold and Gemstone Pool, the Emerald Lake or the Crystal Brook, you’ll soon feel as though you’re in the land of milk and honey. During the treasure hunt, adventurers will find hidden clues at interactive stations. With the right code word, you’ll receive your very own personal treasure at the end.

At the Niedernsill Gemstone Park, you can find gold nuggets and 80 different types of gemstones from all over the world at various stations. Using traditional panning trays, you can search for gold nuggets in the Emerald Lake.
You can also pan for gemstones to your heart’s content in the Kristallbach, the Römerfeld and the Gletschersee. You’re allowed to take all the treasures you find home with you!
