Sliding trail in the Wildkogel Arena

The Wildkogel-Arena mountain railways, situated in the heart of the Kitzbühel Alps, offer special summer experiences, activities and attractions. You’ll notice this as soon as you take the Wildkogelbahn or the Smaragdbahn up to the extensive high-altitude hiking area at 2,100 metres. Many hiking routes start from both mountain stations.

The Panoramaweg trail starts at the top station of the Wildkogelbahn and leads down to the middle station. This is where the slide trail – which is particularly exciting for children – begins. Along the route, ten stainless-steel slides, ranging in length from 22 to 53 metres, ensure a good pace. From the end point at the Gasthof Stockenbaum, it’s just a 45-minute walk along a new hiking trail, through woods and meadows, to Neukirchen.
