Weißsee Glacier World

The Weißsee Glacier World is a stunning destination for walkers, hikers and experienced mountaineers. Surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, you can enjoy the day to the full. A high-alpine holiday paradise opens up to everyone amidst the mountains, lakes and glaciers.

The route leads from Uttendorf (16 km) along the toll-free Stubachtal panoramic road through one of the most impressive Tauern valleys to the starting point of the mountain adventure – the Enzingerboden at 1,480 m above sea level (the cable car’s valley station). From here, the journey continues in 6-seater gondolas via the Grünsee intermediate station (1,740 m) to the Rudolfshütte mountain station at Weißsee (2,300 m) and on to 2,600 metres above sea level via the Medelz double chairlift.

Hikes of all levels of difficulty, variety and a personalised experience are what characterise the Weißsee.
