Wine meets Pinzga specialities

On 17 May 2026, the Wine Festival took place once again on Mittersill’s main square, alongside our Team Fun Run.

This culinary event combines traditional Pinzgau specialities with wine from top winemakers in the Weinviertel region.
We bring these two worlds together to create a new taste experience – we’re already incredibly excited for the Weinviertel wine to meet Pinzgau cuisine once again.

The event was accompanied by live music from “Zommhucka Musi” as well as a children’s programme featuring face painting, crafts and a bouncy castle.


The following Pinzgau specialities were served:

• Farmhouse doughnuts
• Sweet and sour yeast doughnuts
• Cheese noodles with coleslaw
• Cheese gnocchi | Jaganocken
